Eric Charles-Donatien
Eric Charles-Donatien is a feathercraft designer who has studied at the Ecole Duperré and the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. He learnt his craft in the studios and workshops of Hermès and Hanae Mori, gaining an understanding of luxury materials. He became an assistant to the famous French feathercrafter André Lemarié. Then he was promoted, becoming head creative for La Maison Lemarié, and for 13 years he collaborated with the most prestigious of fashion houses, including Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roger Vivier, Vera Wang and Roberto Cavalli. In 2010, Eric Charles-Donatien founded his own company, a real-life creative laboratory, and developed MOYE & DA, his capsule brand of made-to-measure accessories. He brings together breathtaking originality with a thorough understanding of the materials he works with, with traditional French artisanal skills at the heart of all he does.
